"It is my duty, my privilege, to ensure a better tomorrow, not just for my daughter, or for this company, but for the world.

To that end, I am pleased to announce that Horizon Dynamic Systems has entered into a partnership with Chapel Enterprises International to seek new, affordable, sustainable, clean energy sources, so that our children, and their children, will see a brighter tomorrow."

Madeleine Waite is the CEO of Horizon Dynamic Systems, Inc., an Autumn Bay-based technological research and development firm. Previous to Madeleine's leadership, HDS was jokingly known as "Mad Science, Inc", for its lack of focus and many seemingly impractical patents.

She is also the mother of Cassandra Whateley and former lover of Vincent Whateley.

Rumor has it that Horizon Dynamic Systems not only has its own satellite, but also plans for its own orbital platform...

(I fell a little behind on this due to some not-so-great things happening...)

My first guess before reading the description was that she may be a politician of some sort. (Well, she occupies an important and powerful position, so I guess that wasn't that far off.)
Also, she and Whateley?? That sounds like an interesting story...

(Also, I hope the not-so-great things have been overcome, and if not: Good luck!)

I think "politician" is the default when seeing someone at a podium...

The story with her and Whateley is a tale of two people who thought they had something they didn't.

And thanks. I should be fine...
